Strange Facts and Not-so-deep questions

Here is a post that is a result of avoiding getting anything necessary done and too much time on the internet.  Here are some strange facts and not so deep questions I ran across:

The most popular first name in the world is Muhammad.

A sneeze travels out your mouth at over 100 m.p.h.

If one synchronized swimmer drowns, do the rest have to drown too?

Why is the alphabet in that order? Is it because of that song?

How is it possible to have a "civil" war?

Why are there interstate highways in Hawaii?

Why do fat chance and slim chance mean the same thing?

Do you need a silencer if you are going to shoot a mime?

How does the guy who drives the snowplow get to work in the mornings?

If 7-11 is open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, why are there locks on the doors?

Hilarious. I love that you did something so frivolous with your time. Good for you!! I'm going to share these with my family--my kids will love them.

Sometimes being shallow is such a relief. I have seriously committed to being shallow for the rest of my life on various occasions - because there is no tension there - and everyone is happy and silly there. And you don't have to think about anything serious except having fun..."Choke me in the shallow waters before I get too deep..." -Edie Brickell (sp?) Remember that song? But it's hard for me to stay there even when I really want to. Thanks for bringing me back. I think I'll name my dog Muhammad - will that offend people?
